Bilingual Therapist - Telehealth Cleveland, OH, USA Req #822 Monday, December 2, 2024 JOB SUMMARY The bilingual mental health therapist provides counseling through face-to-face and telehealth means to our Spanish-speaking client population. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Providing mental health counseling using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches of care to adults, children, and adolescents. Individualized Service Plan development. Provide crisis intervention as necessary to enhance and restore functioning. Intake/Orientation of new clients. Complete all necessary intake screenings and assessments. Maintain working relationships with other social service organizations; help market The Centers’ programs. Maintain timely and complete clinical records. Identify service gaps and make appropriate referrals. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Related Field. Licenses: LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC or MFT. Languages: Must be fluent in Spanish. Experience: Experience with diagnostic assessment and counseling with individuals and groups preferred. Knowledge: Working knowledge of the states of growth and development and family dynamics. Skilled at use of DSM V for diagnosis of mental disorders. Training and/or experience with use of evidence-based practices. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to make sound decisions under stressful conditions. Demonstrated clinical skills and an ability to organize and prioritize tasks. Understand and accept a systems approach to service delivery and agency and program philosophy and goals. Ability to work in partnership with other team members.
