What You’ll Do As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you’ll support children with a variety of needs — including medically complex, developmental, and physical challenges — helping them improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall independence.
Evaluate, develop, and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans to restore physical function, relieve pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in pediatric patients
Write and maintain skilled documentation including evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, and discharge summaries
Educate and support parents/caregivers in daily care and long-term strategies
Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed based on child progress and goals
Assess natural environments (e.g., home, daycare) and recommend adjustments to support function and independence
Recommend and provide instruction on specialized equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, braces)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to deliver comprehensive care
Manage a pediatric caseload and maintain open, consistent communication with families
Accurately complete billing and documentation for services rendered
What You Bring
Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Minnesota PT license (or eligible by start date)
A true passion for working with children and families
Pediatric experience preferred, but
new grads are strongly encouraged to apply
