Job Details
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13‑week travel assignment in Weatherford, Texas.

Required Qualifications
One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
Valid RN license in state.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification.
STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA/ARC).
Other relevant certifications and licenses.
Summary The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in obstetric setting: assessing maternal/fetal health, administering treatments, collaborating with team, ensuring high‑quality patient‑centered care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
Essential Work Functions
Communicate procedures to patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments per obstetric protocols.
Prepare equipment, aid physician during labor, delivery, examination.
Postpartum care: assess and stabilize mother and newborn.
Educate on recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
Respond to emergencies (preeclampsia, hemorrhage, fetal distress) using protocols.
Document patient care accurately.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
Assist in cesarean sections and other procedures.
Comply with regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking and service excellence.
Strong interpersonal communication.
Read/write/communicate English.
PC skills, ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
Physical ability to move equipment (50–100 lbs), stand, bend.
Ability to work under supervision or independently.
Attention to detail, focus under pressure.
Visual acuity for effective communication.
