This is a fixed‑term position until 9 October 2026 and part‑time. The salary will be pro‑rated.

The post holder will work across Lothian delivering rehabilitation to patients with complex neurology needs, supporting specialist clinics such as Functional Electrical Stimulation and Spasticity Management.

Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality rehabilitation to patients with complex needs following injury or illness.

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) across satellite clinics, community visits, and outpatient settings.

Supervise the clinical workload of Band 5 Physiotherapists, Clinical Support Workers, and Physiotherapy Students.

Contribute to the development and delivery of neurology rehabilitation services and specialist clinics.

Maintain clinical governance and recordkeeping standards.

Essential Requirements

Degree in Physiotherapy.

Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Strong neurology rehabilitation knowledge and clinical skills.

Experience in managing complex rehabilitation needs (preferred).

Good communication, organisational and supervisory skills.

PVG Scheme membership/record in the relevant regulatory group.
