We are currently looking for qualified, dedicated Ed Techs of all levels to help support children ages 3-5 with disabilities, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.
Full‑time positions (40 hours/week, academic year) are available at our growing network of Midcoast preschools. Some itinerant work and local travel may be required. We offer a great benefits package. Contact us today.
Salary Range
Ed Tech I: $16.53 – $26.22 per hour
Ed Tech II: $18.15 – $28.48 per hour
Ed Tech III: $19.64 – $30.57 per hour

Responsibilities
Supervise small groups of students in center‑based programs.
Conduct one‑on‑one or small groups with indirect professional supervision.
Introduce new learning, pre‑planned in collaboration with the Preschool Teacher of Children with Disabilities/Case Manager.
Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the teacher(s).
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and class management functions.
Exhibit positive language and behavior skills as a model for children and families.
Provide input to completion and maintenance of individual observational child assessment.
Maintain confidentiality of all student and employee related information.
Qualifications
Obtain and maintain authorization as an Educational Technician with the Maine Department of Education.
Successful background, criminal records, fingerprinting and reference check.
Current Ed Tech certification.
Experience working with preschool populations and with a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
Criminal history check required.
