Construction of a course syllabus, consistent with the generic course syllabus, that stipulates course objectives, content, and grading criteria. Preparation of course presentations and instructional materials for lecture, laboratory and clinical functions as appropriate. Delivery of instruction and meeting scheduled class and laboratory times. Consultation with and evaluation of students. Maintenance of clear records on student performance and related factors (e.g., attendance) involved with grading. Compliance with departmental and institutional policies and procedures, including submission of midterm and final grades, keeping office hours, and instructional decisions such as texts, assignments, grading standards, and adherence to provisions of the OCCFA contract. Participation and compliance with departmental decisions regarding instructional matters such as texts, assignments, and grading standards. Participation in department and/or institutional assessments of student learning and surveys. Participation on appropriate standing and/or ad hoc committees within the assigned department and division, and engagement in college-wide activities and professional development as mutually agreed upon by the Dean and the faculty member. BNA 100 Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and licensure as an RN. Minimum of 2000 hours (1 year) of experience as a registered nurse teaching in an accredited nurse’s training program. Must acquire at least 4 hours/continuing education units of training in Alzheimer's and related dementia. BSN, MSN, DNS, DNP are exempt from the Train the Trainer course; all other degrees require the Train the Trainer course. Minimum Qualifications (BNA 105) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field and minimum of 2000 hours (1 year) experience. Preferred Qualifications College teaching experience Master’s degree in Education or Master’s degree in Nursing BNA 105 continued Additional Qualifications or Position Requirements Unique to This Search Credentialed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Additional Information

The full-time faculty workload is 30 lecture hour equivalents (LHEs) for a nine-month academic year, with an average teaching load of 15 LHEs in Fall and Spring semesters. The academic calendar consists of 169 working days, with instructional days totaling 153. Faculty are expected to have a minimum of 10 regular office hours per week during Fall and Spring semesters. The College expects faculty to participate in professional development and institutional/service activities. Compensation is for a 9-month contract; the hiring range is $62,419 to $85,424, with additional pay for overloads and summer assignments. A comprehensive benefits package is available.
