JOB DESCRIPTION

Slot Technician The Slot Tech is responsible for repairs, maintains, and monitors the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Also is responsible for fills payout reserve containers, participates in moving slot related equipment. Responsibilities

Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times. Be able to deal with high-volume customer interactions, and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful. Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel; seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships. Ensure slot-playing guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions. Utilize open body language to guests on the casino floor while patrolling; politely speak with and assist guests as needed. Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slot-related equipment on the casino floor and in the slot shop. Participate in the installation, movement, and removal of slot-related equipment. Promptly and professionally respond to all calls. Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner. Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members. Comply with all policies and procedures established by Isle of Capri Casino and departmental management. Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management. Complete knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property. Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities. Accountable for the display and performance of slot equipment. Maintaining strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, procedures and regulations. Through various oral and written reports to the Slot Technical Supervisor. Through achievement of performance goals. Other duties as assigned. Miscellaneous

Understand and adhere to all Colorado Division of Gaming regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations. Management abilities demonstrated in managing Slot Technical Staff. Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations. Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel. Oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft, Novell, GroupWise and L.S.I. Smart Slot System. O btainment departmental budget and goals. Effective managing of the staff. Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork and reports. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two to five years of experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines or slot machines preferred with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Valid Gaming License and Alcoholic Beverage Control Card. Mental & Physical Demands & Work Environment

Ability to analyze and interpret department needs and results. Ability to read, write simple instructions and regulatory documents. Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices. Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment office under frequent time pressure. Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule. Office and work shop environment. Casino and high rise hotel environment. Exposed to bright lights and excessive noise.
