Summary:
The Account Manager/Territory Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan as directed by the Chief Commercial Officer and Regional Sales Director. They will represent our products to new and existing customers while achieving sales expectations and quotas for an assigned territory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive daily sales objectives focusing on territory growth, including new account targeting, cultivation, and launch planning. Develop and implement quarterly business plans based on sales strategies suited to existing and potential customers. Lead training and education planning during account launches. Present and implement Performance Guarantees in key accounts and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews. Regularly transfer account knowledge and other relevant information to the leadership team. Ensure compliance with company policies, the Quality System, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clinical specialists and align team efforts with business plans. Deliver clinical and economic presentations to customers, committee members, and staff. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leader (KOL) cultivation. Uphold the company's standards of ethical and professional conduct. Develop relationships with hospital administrative staff and execute corporate contracts when appropriate. Share product knowledge, train new hires, cross-cover territories, and contribute to marketing and competitive intelligence efforts. Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and customers. Experience/Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. At least 5 years of relevant medical device sales experience strongly preferred. Skills
Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency to achieve objectives. Business acumen with experience in targeting and prioritizing key customer accounts. Ability to establish credibility and effectively communicate with clinical staff, administrators, and physicians. Emotional intelligence to manage schedules and clinical resources efficiently. Experience calling on interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and healthcare administrators. Strategic thinker and tactical planner, flexible and resourceful in achieving goals. Physical Demands
Ability to stand for long hours and wear heavy protective clothing in cath labs. Work Environment
