Individuals within this role are accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities according to OSUMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The RN must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care for patients on the assigned unit, including understanding growth and development principles, assessing patient data, and interpreting information to meet age-specific needs. The RN is responsible for planning patient care, developing, modifying, and implementing the care plan in accordance with OSUMC standards, and adhering to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
