Staff Nurses, DON, Dietary Staff, Housekeeping Staff, Residents, and Resident Family Members Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), provide direct care and support to residents under supervision of licensed nurses. Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting). Monitor residents’ vital signs and report changes to nursing staff. Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting and safety techniques. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Assist with meal preparation and feeding. Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents. Document residents’ care and observations accurately and timely. Provide support to Basic Care Aide (BCA) as needed while BCA works alongside CNA. Qualifications
High School Graduate or GED. Must be 16 years or older. 1-year general geriatric care experience (preferred). Current MN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting. Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; handle interruptions with concentration. Excellent communication, attention to detail, problem solving, and time management. Job Schedule/Location
