Our client, a fast growing Athleisure company, is seeking a Graphic & Packaging Designer to join their NYC-based team full-time!
Responsibilities
Create original, on-trend packaging and product graphics from concept through production
Work closely with the Creative Director to interpret trends and market shifts into design direction
Execute all phases of design including branding, packaging mockups, product graphics, and client-ready presentations
Prepare production-ready files and ensure all artwork meets print and packaging specs
Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and sales teams
Build and manage packaging comps including PDQ boxes, belly bands, hanger cards, etc.
Provide photography and photo retouching for packaging and marketing use
Support the creation of web and marketing materials as needed
Requirements
3+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally with a focus on packaging or consumer goods
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
Strong sense of typography, color, and trend application; familiarity with Pantone and CSI color systems
Strong branding and logo design skills, especially for lifestyle or activewear brands
Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and structural design
Experience preparing mockups and client presentations; 3D rendering skills a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
