What You’ll Do
Oversee daily production operations across multiple RLS manufacturing processes (OMS, Bender, Cup & Trim, HydroForm, SpinForm, Inspect, Etch).
Lead, train, and supervise a team of production operators, providing real‑time feedback and supporting ongoing development.
Coordinate daily staffing and shift scheduling to ensure optimal productivity and coverage.
Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, addressing or escalating mechanical issues as needed.
Monitor production rates, piece counts, and quality data to meet or exceed established goals.
Maintain accurate production records and visual management boards.
Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all parts meet company specifications and standards.
Support operators in inspections and collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to address deviations, reduce scrap, and implement corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and waste reduction.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Conduct routine audits of documentation, production records, and shift reports.
What You’ll Need
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong understanding of production workflows and equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.
Working knowledge of quality systems, documentation standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and measurement tools.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity and strong visual acuity, including color recognition.
Flexibility to work multiple shifts or extended hours as needed.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
