Summary:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Automotive Technology Faculty with student training. The length of employment is routinely the academic year (fall and spring terms); however, some work may be performed during the summer as needed. This is a necessary position due to increase of enrollment and the need for one or one with the students.
Job Duties:
Supervise students in the lab. Supervise the use of hand and power tools used in the Automotive industry. Will evaluate student skills and work ethic and present findings to Automotive Technology Instructor. Supports the overall success of the District by performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent and one year Automotive Technology education or equivalent experience.
Abilities:
Ability to take direction; attention to detail and accuracy completing tasks.
Tools and Equipment Usage:
Measuring tools, hand and bench tools, precision hand tools, power tools, and automotive shop equipment.
