Overview
Luck Stone Spotsylvania Plant is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join their 2nd Shift team. Production is the core of our business. Our Plant Operators monitor our crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, and bins to maximize production and provide quality products. Since safety is a top priority at Luck, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition through hands-on maintenance.
Shift Shift hours: Mon-Thur 3:30 pm-2:30 am
Responsibilities
Pre-shift inspection of the plant
Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance: changing screens, greasing, changing rollers, belt splices, rebuilding crushers, welding, and fabrication
Consistently inspect and monitor plant to ensure proper operation
Assists with other site projects as requested by management and team members
Flexibility to assist team members as needed with other projects
Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
Qualifications
Prior experience operating and/or performing hands on maintenance in a similar environment
Mechanically inclined with proven work experience
Basic welding or torch skills necessary
Passion for learning
Ability to commit to 2nd shift long term
Comfortable working from elevated platforms and other heights without fear
Pay starts at $26.58 per hour plus $3.00-hour differential and could increase upon skills and experience evaluation from management.
