Position available at Austin Bridge & Road. Austin Industrial is a leading provider of maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to industrial companies. With over 60 years of experience, we serve oil, gas, chemical, food, agriculture, power, and manufacturing sectors.
Overview This is a full‑time maintenance role, 40 hours per week. The position does not include per diem or relocation funding.
Responsibilities
Spot weld on structural TIG, perform maintenance on small and large equipment, change bearings, belts, install pumps/motors, and conduct minor laser alignment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical equipment.
Replace defective parts, adjust clearances, and align moving parts.
Test, repair, or install mechanical units such as water pumps, fuel pumps, governors, distributors, carburetors, brakes, clutches, and other devices.
Replace bearings, chains, sprockets, and other machine parts.
Rebuild pumps, cylinders, and mechanical equipment as needed per standard operating procedures.
Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
Fabricate repair parts as required.
Perform all work while wearing required personal protective equipment.
Maintain full range of mobility; reach overhead; work in various positions; use hands; work at heights; balance for extended periods.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education: No minimum requirement.
Experience: 3–5 years of journeyman‑level mechanical experience.
Must pass a pre‑employment physical and background check.
