Responsibilities
Finish carpentry and decorative/amenities execution to deliver clean, polished, high-end results for interior and exterior spaces. Rough carpentry tasks including framing and layout using metal studs; assist in drywall installation when needed. Interpret architectural and shop drawings to guide layout and execution. Prepare and install trim, baseboards, crown molding, wainscoting, window and door casing, stair railings, and prehung doors (wood and hollow metal). Frame openings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; coordinate with other trades to maintain productivity and sequencing. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively; follow all construction safety procedures and PPE requirements. Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and fellow trades to meet project goals and maintain quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 3+ years in commercial carpentry, including both rough and finish scopes Tool Knowledge: Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment Blueprint Literacy: Comfortable reading and applying construction documents, layouts, and shop drawings Safety Mindset: Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to safety standards Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly on job progress and needs Attention to Detail: Strong focus on delivering precise, code-compliant, and visually excellent results Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification Experience in tenant improvements, institutional builds, or ground-up commercial construction Familiarity with layout tools and techniques (e.g., chalk lines, laser levels) Installation of baseboards, crown molding, wainscoting, and doors Measurement and cutting of trim and millwork with precision Woodwork fabrication of cabinetry, shelving, or storage elements Blueprint interpretation to ensure proper execution of finishes Problem-solving and on-site adjustments for fit and alignment Collaboration with foremen, project managers, and other trades Safety: maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and adhere to jobsite safety protocols
