Participate in an extensive hands-on Manager Training Program to develop leadership skills and prepare for a management-level position in the Oil Change department. Advancement is based on performance; most upper management and corporate employees have been promoted from within. Perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks, and minor light-duty automotive repairs (e.g., brakes, tires, suspension components, sensors). Greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, professional manner and educate them on products and services. Perform general store upkeep (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning restrooms, snow removal) and light maintenance. Uphold customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards for quality. Master basic employee responsibilities within your department and work hands-on alongside staff. Train, coach, and evaluate employees’ performance; ensure adherence to safety regulations. Prepare and review reports, including staffing schedules and financials; address customers professionally. Maintain cleanliness of premises and safety standards. Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older A valid driver’s license is preferred NYS Inspector License preferred Good mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service Detail-oriented, team player, and able to work in all weather conditions Ability to work with a sense of urgency; stand, walk, and bend for long periods; lift moderate weight Flexible schedule; availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Six months to one year of leadership, management, or key holder experience; consistent work history Courteous, professional demeanor; initiative to lead others Effective June 1, 2024, seasonal employment opportunities due to attending school are no longer available Compensation
Pay range: $20.50 - $30.50 per hour, depending on experience. Additional information
