As a Nuclear Design Engineer, you will perform standard reload analysis work for US and international customers, following and understanding approved methodologies, procedures, and internal processes while maintaining focus on nuclear safety and quality to produce error free work. You will report to the Manager of BWR Engineering. This role is hybrid, based in Cranberry, PA. Relocation assistance is available. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the development and optimization of safe, economic bundle and core designs, development of cycle operation techniques and simulation of transient events for establishing reactor operating limits. Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems that are not well defined. Coordinate and integrate complex technical projects that encompass multi-teams; achieve established budget and schedule requirements. Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products. Support development and implementation of new methods and processes for implementing technical requirements. Coordinate technical documents for associated licensing approvals and provide expertise and consultation to technical panels, reviews, committees, regulators, customers, and partners on multiple Nuclear Design related topics. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related Discipline (e.g., Mechanical) preferred or recognized equivalent required. 2 + years\' experience required. Experience working in a team environment. Computer programming skills Benefits
