The University of Tampa invites applications for a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track position at the Assistant Teaching Professor level in the Department of Environmental Studies within the College of Natural and Health Sciences. The position will have primary teaching responsibilities in introductory-level Environmental Studies courses for majors and general education Environmental Studies courses for non-majors (e.g., Environmental Science, Biodiversity Conservation, Urban Sustainability, Introduction to Geosciences). Area of expertise is open. Responsibilities

Teach introductory Environmental Studies courses for Environmental Studies majors and general education Environmental Studies courses for non-majors. Contribute to the department's teaching mission and participate in service, mentoring, and advising as appropriate for a teaching-focused position. Qualifications

Masters or Doctoral degrees in Environmental Education, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or a related field preferred. Prior teaching experience with undergraduates is required. Strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching and advising. Interest in combining natural and social science perspectives with environmental pedagogy. Application Materials
