About Us: We are a licensed detox and residential treatment facility in Michigan dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated

Therapist

to join our residential and detox program team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with individuals in early recovery and has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy within a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducational sessions for clients in detox and residential care

Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support individualized treatment planning

Facilitate family involvement as clinically appropriate

Support clients through crisis intervention, relapse prevention, and skill‑building work

Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and case reviews

Ensure clinical documentation meets Michigan state licensure and accrediting body requirements (e.g., JCAHO, CARF)

Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards in line with licensing board and agency policies

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

Active Michigan licensure as

LLMSW ,

LMSW ,

LLPC ,

LPC ,

LLP , or equivalent (supervision available for limited license holders)

Experience in substance use disorder or dual diagnosis treatment preferred

Familiarity with ASAM criteria, DSM‑5, and trauma‑informed care

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
