Office Survey Technician - Coeur d’Alene, ID | David Evans and Associates, Inc. DEA is seeking an Office Survey Technician to join the Inland Northwest team. This position can sit in Spokane, WA; Boise, ID; Coeur d’Alene, ID; or Pocatello, ID. The Office Survey Technician performs technical work in survey drafting, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way engineering, and construction surveying services for public and private clients. What You’ll Do

Provide Surveying and Geomatics office support. Map, draft, perform data extraction, and complete topographic surveys. Work closely in an apprenticeship role with the Survey Manager, Project Surveyor, and a network of professionals around the Western United States. Perform research, design, and calculations for survey and mapping projects using AutoCAD or MicroStation products. Assist with boundary determinations and procedure analysis. Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits and plats. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring

Required Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation (ORD), and Point Cloud extraction. Minimum 2 years of survey field and/or office experience and general engineering plan reading skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering or drafting LSIT What We Offer
