As a Field Service Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
You’ll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You’ll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.
Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) The MST business area provides affordable, turn‑key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Qualifications You Must Have
High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental U.S., typically for extended periods of time
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations
Successfully pass a pre‑deployment medical assessment
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 rotation
Qualifications We Prefer
Associate's degree in a related field of study
Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Military
