Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: White Bear Lake, MN Pay Rate: $30 per hour

A manufacturing facility in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment. This role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving both mechanical and electrical issues to ensure smooth production operations. The successful candidate will have strong technical abilities and must be willing to join the union.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on production machinery.

Diagnose and address mechanical and electrical equipment issues.

Maintain accurate records and inventory of parts and supplies.

Execute repairs on single-phase and three-phase power systems.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical control wiring from schematics.

Participate in facility maintenance and additional assignments as needed.

Proactively prevent potential failures and minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3 years related maintenance experience, or 2 years with relevant technical training.

Proficiency in single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing control circuits.

Skilled use of electrical testing instruments (continuity testers, ammeters, voltage testers).

Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs and machine adjustments.

Comfortable reading and using equipment and parts manuals.

Minnesota Boiler Class A or B License may be required.

Must be willing to join the union.

Work Schedule Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, morning shift, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
