As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role on the Gigafactory Production team. You will lead a dynamic team of Associates and Leads while managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor. In this role, you will work cross‑functionally with our manufacturing and operations teams, interfacing with Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow, to ensure production goals are being met. What You’ll Do
Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against aggressive production targets. Empower the production team to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability and line productivity. Develop training programs and hiring plans for assembly team members. Support issue resolution, including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking. Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process and support no defects from leaving a station or team area. Develop and maintain standardized manufacturing instructions used in production assembly by the assembly team members. Ensure team safety training is current, document EHS incidents, proactively correct workplace hazards, and empower others to continuously improve operations. What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high volume manufacturing setting preferred. Experience in selecting and developing new team members. Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs). Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines. Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills; able to interface with executives and leaders on a daily basis and strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail. Fluent with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work flexible shift, including nights and weekend, if necessary. Benefits
