The Field Supervisor is accountable for providing leadership, management, and supervision for electrical projects within the commercial and industrial sectors. This role involves overseeing safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment. Responsibilities
Manage teams of electricians, consistently completing projects on time, within budget, and safely. Supervise and direct field personnel, typically overseeing a team of 20+ employees. Establish performance goals and motivate crews. Lead and manage crews including apprentices, journeypersons, crew leaders, and lead persons. Delegate tasks effectively. Lay out project work, coordinate scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment. Supervise on-site construction projects, ensuring completion within parameters. Review project documents for compliance; resolve construction issues. Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to procedures, costs, schedules, and quality standards. Conduct performance evaluations for personnel. Report to supervisors and interact with other departments and stakeholders. Maintain required licensing and training. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent. Completion of approved electrical apprenticeship. Four+ years of field supervision/management experience.
