Aerospace
Equipment Repair Technician
to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of complex aircraft components like power distribution systems, generators, and ram air turbines.
You’ll work in a fast-paced, regulated environment where quality and safety come first. If you enjoy solving problems, working with advanced tools, and being part of a skilled team — this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do
Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic repairs
Follow FAA regulations, manufacturer specs, and airline policies
Use diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair
Maintain accurate service records and inspection logs
Handle and store parts and hazardous materials properly
Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and technicians
Support urgent repairs (AOG situations) and continuous improvement efforts
Participate in disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and testing
Maintain a clean, organized workspace to 6S standards
Occasionally assist with painting and sandblasting (PPE required)
What You’ll Need as a Aerospace Equipment Repair Technician Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Associate degree, certification, or 2+ years in aviation, industrial, or military maintenance
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Willingness to be respirator trained and work with PPE
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks
Preferred:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
Physical Requirements
65% stationary / 35% mobility
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Pay Details:
$23.00 per hour
