Position Civil Engineer
– dynamic and multifaceted role focused on residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development.
Responsibilities
Site Plan Excellence:
Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
Data Analysis:
Dive into project survey data to assess existing site conditions, considering legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
Comprehensive Reporting:
Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations crucial for project direction, including hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer's opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, local and state permit applications, stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading.
Construction Support:
Offer construction-related services such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals. Organize site plans, construction plans, and construction documents under guidance of senior staff.
Engineering Software Mastery:
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments efficiently, ensuring alignment with established standards.
Effective Communication:
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in collaboration with current staff, ensuring seamless project coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
5+ years of experience
EIT preferred
AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred
Pay Range:
$78,700 USD - $118,200 USD
