Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and disassemble trade show booths and exhibits efficiently and safely according to schematics and design specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to construct display structures, including framing, cabinetry, flooring, lighting fixtures, glass installations, and custom fabrication components.

Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise assembly of various display elements such as drywall, trim carpentry, stucco finishes, masonry accents, and decorative plastering.

Manage fixture installation including lighting, signage, digital displays, and other exhibit components with attention to detail.

Operate heavy equipment when necessary for larger installation projects or site preparation tasks.

Conduct quality inspections during assembly to ensure structural integrity, safety compliance, and aesthetic standards are met.

Collaborate with project managers to coordinate installation schedules and communicate progress or issues promptly.

Maintain a clean work environment during projects by organizing tools and materials efficiently.

Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling construction materials like concrete forms, roofing materials, caulking compounds, flooring tiles, or masonry elements.

Assist with restoration or modifications of booth components post‑event as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management or related trades such as carpentry, framing, drywall installation, or general construction site work.

Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate assembly.

Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment.

Experience with construction estimating or project planning is a plus.

Knowledge of specialized trades including plumbing or electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory.

Ability to operate heavy machinery safely when required.

Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision in finishing work like caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying or concrete finishing.

Excellent problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot on‑site issues quickly.

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installation tasks.
