What You Will Learn

Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs.

Ability to estimate service or repair time for efficient scheduling.

Understanding of parts requirements and the ability to communicate via repair orders.

Familiarity with approved service and repair procedures.

Knowledge of quality control and inspection requirements of the Service Department.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Regular requirement to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting or exerting up to 25 pounds.

Valid driver’s license and insurability rating required.

Knowledge of automotive service fundamentals. Prior technician experience is a plus.

Working knowledge of automotive tools and shop equipment.

Professional work ethic and good judgment.

High school diploma or equivalent.
