Title: Maintenance Mechanic A – St. Joseph, MO
Location : St. Joseph Distribution Center (DC)
Pay : $32.89
Shift : 3rd Shift and B Shift
3rd Shift 11pm to 7:18pm
B Shift 11am to 11:18pm

What You’ll Do
Maintain and repair manufacturing and plant utility equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across battery production systems
Install, move, and modify machinery, including electrical, gas, water, and air hook-ups
Perform plumbing, electrical, heating, and general facility repairs
Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide maintenance work
Operate precision tools, test instruments, and machine shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welder, etc.)
Fabricate or repair jigs, fixtures, guards, racks, trays, and other custom parts or tools
Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and preventative maintenance programs
Log work orders, order parts, and help maintain maintenance records (via Maximo)
Occasionally lead or assist lower-level mechanics or trainees
What We’re Looking For
5+ years experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical trades
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Proficient with shop equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, welder, saws, etc.)
Self-starter with minimal supervision needed
Willingness to participate in team-based improvement programs (HPTs, safety groups, etc.)
Must supply own hand tools appropriate for the role
High school diploma or equivalent required

Fabrication equipment: lathe, mills, grinders, saws, welding tools
Electrical testing and diagnostic tools
