Position Summary In this role as an Equipment Technician you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations. You will work with engineers and manufacturing staff on set‑up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting and following standard operating procedures, and performing rework and quality testing related to the production of memory chips and logic. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines is required.
Role And Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Follow SOPs to ensure equipment, processes, and systems run effectively.
Troubleshooting: Conduct failure analysis and use scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
Monitor Equipment/Process: Observe equipment and processes in their current state and proactively seek ways to improve them.
Working as a team member and communicating on a regular basis.
Skills And Qualifications
Any 2‑year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC, etc); 3+ ASE certifications or 4 years semiconductor technician experience; or 4 years equivalent technical military service.
Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem‑solving skills; ability to learn quickly.
Experience working in a continuous improvement, fast‑paced, changing environment.
Familiarity with TPM concepts.
Detail‑oriented with a customer‑service, team‑work, and flexibility mindset.
Strict adherence to SOPs.
Ability to work off‑hours if necessary.
Electro‑mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.
Day Shifts Include A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 am – 7:15 pm) with alternating Wednesdays.
C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45 am – 7:15 pm) with alternating Wednesdays.
