Key responsibilities
Execute the production schedule efficiently to meet operational goals and customer expectations. Collaborate with site engineers to develop, implement, and maintain effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Build and maintain a high-performing production team through training, coaching, and development. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Kerry’s internal standards. Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste. Manage the production department within established budget parameters. Foster a positive work environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee engagement. Partner with the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) officer to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products meet quality and specification standards. Identify and implement strategies to minimize production losses and downtime. Ensure food safety programs are effectively implemented and followed. Monitor and manage performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Food Science. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of unit operations in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Experience with HACCP and food safety standards. Prior experience in the food industry. Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position is
$64,479 to $105,272
in annual salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company. The specific compensation offered may be influenced by skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. This position is eligible to earn a performance-based incentive, and Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contributions, Employee Share Plan, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
