About The Job Our E/I Technicians are responsible for installation, calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation devices and electrical equipment including control systems, transformers, and motor control centers in a heavy industrial environment.
Operation of valves, controllers, transmitters, positioners, PLC's, pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic lines.
Operation and troubleshooting of motors, motor starters, motor controllers, inverters, electrical switchgear, lighting and all electrical circuits from DC up to and including 4160V.
Perform basic calibration of instruments on process and utility equipment.
Basic troubleshooting and repair of process controllers, plant equipment, and laboratory instruments.
Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers utilizing available instructions and manuals.
Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, electrical files, E&I drawings, and work order documentation is complete with accurate information.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass an aptitude test in industrial Electrical/Instrumentation functions and complete a training program.
Two years electrical or electrician experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical degree, certification or equivalent.
