Role and Responsibilities As a Probate Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will support our attorneys in providing top-notch legal services to our clients. Your duties will include:
Attorney Support : Assist attorneys with case preparation and management.
Case Management : Organize and maintain case files, calendars, tasks, and documents. Ensure timely filing of necessary documents and manage hearing notices, proof of service, and orders.
Legal Research : Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations to assist in developing case strategies.
Factual Research and Investigation : Perform research on real property records, corporate entities, and backgrounds.
Document Preparation : Prepare legal documents including petitions, complaints, discovery requests, disclosure statements and trial exhibits.
Discovery Process : Draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for documents, and admissions.
Client Communication and Support : Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering information.
Trial Preparation : Assist in organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing trial exhibits, and coordinating with witnesses.
Administrative Tasks : Handle various administrative duties including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, billing, and maintaining case management systems.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years as an Arizona Legal Assistant with civil litigation experience, preferably in probate, trust, estate, guardianship, conservatorship, or vulnerable adult controversies.
Education : Associate degree and paralegal certificate or associate degree in paralegal studies required. Equivalent professional experience in legal support, litigation, estate planning, or trust administration will be considered in lieu of formal credentials.
Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office with at least 5 years of experience. Preferred experience with Clio Manage. Strong organizational, communication, and research skills.

Work Location: In person
Competitive pay: $62,400 - $78,000 per year (equivalent to $30.00 - $37.50 per hour)
Bonus pay based on productivity, firm profitability, and other holistic considerations
