The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting key supply chain functions including material procurement, production planning, and inventory control. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth coordination and integration of information and materials across the supply chain—from suppliers to end customers. The position involves close interaction with procurement buyers, warehouse personnel, inventory managers, and supply vendors, and includes oversight of material and equipment warranty processes. Primary Responsibilities
Support the procurement process by analyzing material needs and working closely with buyers to ensure timely ordering and delivery. Assist in production planning by analyzing demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times. Maintain accurate records of inventory and coordinate with warehouse staff to monitor stock levels and reconcile discrepancies. Track and coordinate material movement and flow across suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. Oversee material and equipment warranty processes, including tracking, claims, and vendor coordination. Identify supply chain inefficiencies and recommend solutions for optimization. Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve supply or delivery issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements. Maintain supply chain data and generate reports to support decision-making. Basic Qualifications
TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree 4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain functions such as procurement, production planning, or inventory management Practical knowledge of industry-standard supply chain practices and processes. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or logistics systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with supply chain analytics or material flow analysis. Working knowledge of budgeting and contract management principles in a supply chain context. Familiarity with production processes and scheduling in a manufacturing or operations environment. Demonstrated ability to coordinate across suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. Knowledge of logistics systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, ISM CPSM). Experience supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma). Understanding of supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies. Important Notices
