Job Description A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as a strategic partner in guiding financial planning, service line development, and organizational growth.

This position plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insight—bridging information gaps, optimizing performance, and supporting leadership with accurate, evidence-based financial models. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, deep knowledge of healthcare operations, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed pro formas for proposed programs and service lines, including utilization, revenue, and expense projections.

Model operational and market scenarios to support investment and expansion decisions.

Evaluate financial performance and forecast future volumes for existing programs.

Produce segmented pro formas for sub-service areas to provide targeted, actionable insights.

Build and maintain predictive models using advanced BI and statistical tools.

Integrate historical trends, utilization data, and external benchmarks to guide strategic and financial planning.

Partner with Finance, Operations, and departmental leaders to collect, verify, and analyze key data inputs.

Facilitate meetings with leadership teams to review findings and translate results into operational strategies.

Design and deliver high-impact dashboards, reports, and visualizations that highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities.

Present insights to executive stakeholders to inform decision-making on resource allocation and service development.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare business intelligence, financial analysis, or strategic analytics.

Proven success in developing pro formas, forecasting models, and data-driven strategies for healthcare organizations.

Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.

Experience with cost accounting systems and service line profitability analysis.

Understanding of payer mix modeling, reimbursement structures, and patient volume forecasting.

Familiarity with healthcare market trends, regulatory factors, and operational performance metrics.
