Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Foreman to oversee bridge construction projects and to help ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Foreman you will work closely with the Superintendent on coordinating daily operations on the construction site, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Supervise and lead construction teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide construction activities. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings. Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions. Experience
Proven experience in a Steel Foreman role or similar position within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of bridge construction principles and practices. Experience in quality control processes and techniques specific to construction projects. Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply them effectively on-site. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse groups of workers. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction environment is essential.
