The
CDL Driver
role involves making deliveries, operating a forklift in the warehouse, and providing outstanding customer service at job sites. The typical day starts around 7:00 AM and ends at approximately 4:30 PM. The position is full‑time with no weekend work required; hours may vary by location. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Live the company mission statement.
Act as a front‑line representative of Lansing while providing outstanding customer service.
Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
Interact with customers and/or crews at job sites.
Provide exceptional service to each Lansing customer and consistently strive to improve service quality.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
Perform additional duties as needed, such as cycle counts, inventory management, and inside sales.
Qualifications
CDL B (or A) license is required.
Clean driving record.
Forklift experience on a Moffett forklift.
Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus as a contributing member of a larger team.
Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
Experience with building products is very helpful.
Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
At least one year of driving experience.
Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.
