UC Irvine Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Plant, incumbent prepares surfaces for painting by cleaning, patching, filling, sanding, and scraping as appropriate. Orders required materials and applies to interior and exterior surfaces using spray guns, rollers, brushes, etc. Removes and re-installs electrical plates, signs, bulletin boards, etc. In addition, incumbent functions as unit resource to staff and prioritizing work flow. Required Qualifications
Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and JCAHO standards Must work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs Current State of California Driver's License Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings and manufacturers technical manuals Compensation and Benefits
