Lead Implementation Ops - Spending Accounts / COBRA
Join the Paylocity team as a Lead Implementation Ops - Spending Accounts / COBRA. 100% in‑office at our Meridian, ID / Schaumburg, IL / Rochester, NY offices. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates must work on‑site five days per week during designated work hours. The Implementation Team Lead provides coaching, mentoring and leadership to Implementation Consultants. The Team Lead collaborates with consultants and should identify areas of success, provide timely feedback and coaching to improve performance, offer praise for job‑well‑done work, and assist Implementation Managers with staff performance updates, client issue resolution, departmental improvement actions, and quality metric maintenance. Primary Responsibilities
Supervise operations for the designated team. Oversee day‑to‑day work of team members, delegating assignments as needed. Provide coaching, support, and development for new and existing team members. Facilitate communication through regular meetings, 1:1s, or team huddles. Provide input and recommendations to managers on performance management, promotions, terminations and other performance issues. Develop and collaborate with management on best practices to improve team performance. Troubleshoot escalated client or departmental issues and offer solutions in line with organizational objectives. Accountability to meet defined KPIs. Act as primary contact for new hires, partnering with ISA Team and L&D to recommend supplemental training. Use functional and technical knowledge to assist team members. Assist in answering client overflow calls. Mentor and coach peers as needed. Perform all other assigned duties. Behaviors and Skills
Mentor and coach peers, providing timely feedback and training that improves performance. Organize work in a matrix environment, managing multiple consultants across project phases. Show expert project management skills, prioritizing tasks and delivering within deadlines. Communicate effectively, adapting to different communication styles. Research and troubleshoot complex problems and de‑escalate client conflict. Leverage data and analytics to drive performance and decision‑making. Collaborate in a team environment, leading client/team meetings and promoting inclusion and diversity. Adaptably manage change and pivot when necessary. Education and Experience
Minimum two years’ experience in an implementation role. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Complete understanding of Paylocity’s implementation standards, policies, and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office. Physical Requirements
Sit for extended periods (approximately 7‑8 hours per day). Use computer, phone systems, and type. Operate multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
