As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. Responsibilities
You will lead by example and maintain a positive attitude, greet and thank members, and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area; receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner; maintain inventory to prevent out-of-stock and over-stock situations.
Be a Team Member: stay up-to-date on products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, and adapt to business needs.
Be an Expert: understand quality processes and specifications for produce, prepare products according to standards, maintain product safety and sanitation, and follow applicable laws and company policies.
Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality.
Be an Owner: drive area performance, manage inventory and dating standards, reduce waste, and assist customers per company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: model high-quality service and products, and demonstrate energy and commitment.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; use Open Door Policy and apply in business processes.
Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement.
