Hallmark Field Territory and Installation Supervisor (part-time)
Location: Vandalia, OH 45377
Job Overview The Field Territory and Installation Supervisor (TIS) is a part‑time position responsible for supervising a group of Field and Installation Merchandisers within a specific geography. Field Merchandisers maintain card departments and outposts for everyday and seasonal products. Installation Merchandisers participate in installation activities which include building Hallmark fixtures, moving card departments, installing new stores, store relocations, and card department remodels.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting pay will be between $18.50 - $19.50 depending on your skills and experience.
This is a Part‑Time position with daytime and early evening hours, typically Monday through Friday.
Average weekly hours: 15 - 25 hours per week.
Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Weekend work may be required during major holiday periods.
Your Role and Responsibilities You will perform supervisory oversight and assistance with service work in Hallmark departments of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of two major components:
Supervise and Manage Service:
Supervise a team of 5-10 Field and Installation Merchandisers, ensuring well‑maintained departments and timely execution of everyday & seasonal programs, building new fixtures or completing remodels.
Document and manage performance with store manager feedback and input.
Handle retailer concerns, retail execution issues, and merchandiser performance issues by working with store management, merchandisers, and/or your manager.
Lead Department Remodels and Resets:
Prepare, direct and follow up on minor installations involving resetting product, building fixtures, and merchandising product.
Lead or participate in major installations when business exceptions require additional support.
Major installations may involve moving the card department, building fixtures, and merchandising product.
In this role you must motivate both in‑person and remote teams, follow through on commitments, and lead by example. You should excel at managing change, delegating tasks, demonstrating strong problem‑solving skills, and handling administrative duties while building relationships with customers.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires consistent movement, lifting and carrying. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds during the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also climb stairs, step ladders, kneel, squat, walk and stand throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Read, understand and communicate in English.
Operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
Have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
Have consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores.
Flexible to work a changing schedule that may include evenings or weekends.
Work the week before and the week after major holidays.
