Requirements Must have:

We require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus two years of experience in incident response, NOC/SOC escalation, or service delivery. Alternatively, we welcome candidates with a different blend of experience, such as six years in a similar role. Familiarity with ITIL or structured IT service management frameworks is essential, along with knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience with monitoring and incident management tools, such as ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or Datadog, is also important.

Responsibilities: In this role, I will oversee the entire incident lifecycle, taking ownership of major incidents from detection to resolution. I will log, categorize, and prioritize incidents according to their impact and urgency while serving as the main point of coordination for all critical incidents, facilitating rapid engagement and resolution. I will lead technical discussions during incidents, actively involving engineering teams and third-party vendors when necessary. Furthermore, I will provide timely updates to both internal stakeholders and clients during active incidents and coordinate executive-level summaries for extended or high-severity events. My role will also include translating complex technical information into understandable business impact summaries for non-technical audiences. I will facilitate post-incident reviews to identify root causes and suggest corrective measures, collaborating with engineering and support teams to implement preventative actions. Lastly, I will analyze incident trends to uncover systemic issues and track key incident metrics to support continuous improvement of our incident response strategies. The compensation for this position ranges from $90,100.00 to $150,100.00 annually, influenced by factors such as job location and the selected candidate’s qualifications. Additional compensation may be available through incentive programs. We also offer our employees paid vacation flexibility, seven paid holidays throughout the year, and up to 160 hours of paid wellness time. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military leave, and parental leave.
