HDR’s Water Business Group provides a broad range of services to address water challenges, including planning, design, construction, and program management. What You’ll Do
Be the cornerstone of project delivery by overseeing small-scale, single-discipline planning efforts and large, multi-disciplinary design projects. Plan, direct, and manage projects across the project lifecycle while maintaining attention to detail and strong client relationships. Lead internal and external meetings, workshops, and technical discussions to align stakeholders and drive progress. Interface with governing agencies during project reviews and permitting processes. Track project budgets, monitor financial performance, and coordinate resources to keep deliverables on time and within scope. Collaborate with project controllers, business group leaders, and accounting teams to provide regular status updates and financial reviews. Perform technical analyses and prepare clear, concise engineering reports. Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineers with a focus on water/wastewater engineering expertise. Support firm-wide initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as needed. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience At least 2 years of project management experience Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license MS Office and MS Project experience required (Access experience a plus) Demonstrated leadership skills Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture What We Believe
