About Us

: Martinus is seeking a Procurement Admin to report directly to the Head of Procurement. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in finance, business, or a related field and have a minimum of two years’ experience in procurement or vendor management. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in a construction-related field. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-started with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities

: Procurement Admin position tasked with a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth functioning of procurement processes and vendor management which include: Implementing procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives. Conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, and evaluating them based on price, quality, and delivery speed. Preparing and managing purchase orders and contracts and maintaining detailed records of procurement activities. Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and monitoring their compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Coordinating with internal departments to ensure proper communication and understanding of procurement needs and specifications. Monitoring inventory levels of certain commodities and placing orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies. Assisting PE’s with material submittals as needed to Clients. Onboard all suppliers to the new Felix platform and ensure that all documentation has been gathered from said suppliers. Create & maintain supplier master records in ERP including banking details and administer supplier verification through EFTSure. Key Tasks and Duties In addition to the broader responsibilities, specific tasks and duties of a Procurement Administrator include: Verifying purchase order receipts. Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Resolving issues with suppliers and vendors regarding shipment delays or quality lapses . Administering the implementation of procurement software or systems to streamline procurement processes. Ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance mandates affecting procurement. Qualifications

: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Experience in construction-related procurement or supply chain management is preferred. Strong skills in negotiation and vendor management. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools is highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications. This role demands a high level of diligence, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. An effective Procurement Admin not only contributes to the cost-efficiency of an organization but also strengthens supplier relationships and supports organizational strategy through effective supply chain management.
