A respected national law firm is seeking a
Temporary Facilities Assistant
to support a large-scale internal office move at its Washington, D.C. location. This is an ideal opportunity for a
college student home for the summer
or someone seeking short-term work with a dynamic and professional environment.
The assignment is expected to last through July. Key Responsibilities: Assist with packing and organizing boxes for internal relocations and hoteling setups Help move light furniture and office items (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds) Support the Facilities team by conducting walk-throughs of office spaces to identify move-related needs Perform daily inspections and tidying of hoteling offices Collaborate with the on-site Facilities team (Chuck, Toussaint, and Candace) to execute tasks related to space planning and relocation Handle miscellaneous facilities tasks and projects as assigned Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail Willingness to pitch in as needed and take initiative Prior facilities or office support experience a plus, but not required Compensation: $19 - $23/hr.
