Opportunity The Disputes Analyst role requires an individual who is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience through analytical Disputes escalation reviews. Successful applicants are driven by the opportunity to perform thorough, high-quality research under tight deadlines, to ensure our processes are completed accurately and that the reputation of our firm is upheld. The role is positioned to positively impact all facets of the business through the identification of process improvement opportunities through ongoing disputes research that is then presented to stakeholders. Important skillsets include the ability to effectively engage business partners, being intensely detailed oriented, possess working knowledge of regulatory and procedure requirements as well as knowledge of system applications functionality for all related processes. Responsibilities and Duties Effectively manage escalated disputes concerns received through multiple channels Perform in depth research of disputes documents, related data and information across multiple systems to ensure a thorough assessment is completed Create and communicate detailed summary communications based on research findings Prioritize requests responses in real time and provide status updates to ensure key partners and leaders are aware of progress As necessary, communicate directly with customers to gather detailed information for disputes Recommend process, procedure, employee education and system enhancements to improve the end-to-end process and customer experience. Provide regular reporting and analytical updates to senior leadership As a subject matter expert, engage with key business partners in the assessment of regulatory compliance of escalated disputes Partner with various stakeholders to help drive the business forward Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of experience in Credit Card Disputes or Fraud operations Expertise in Regulation pertaining to Credit Card unauthorized use and billing disputes Exceptional time management and the ability to effectively complete competing priorities Relevant industry expertise in a portfolio of large-scale accounts Strong risk management and compliance focus Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Availability and willingness to work on weekend and outside of the “standard” workday. Proven ability to work in fast paced dynamic environments where decisions are made without compromising quality, the customer experience and financial losses Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns Team player capable of learning and sharing knowledge in global team environment working closely with Consumer Protection Manager Demonstrated effective communication both verbally and in writing ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
