Your Mission: To drive operational excellence with advanced diagnostics, expert repairs, and proactive maintenance, maximizing uptime and efficiency while leading and developing technicians. Key Responsibilities
Independence & Field Expertise
Start your workday from home, servicing customers on-site in a company-provided van with the latest tools & diagnostic technology. Own Your Territory: Maintain and repair forklifts, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment across warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing industries. Be the Expert in the Field: Deliver on-site service with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to maximize uptime. Maintain WMH and customer equipment through scheduled maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
Lead & Mentor the Next Generation
Train and develop junior techs; lead by example.
Customer Engagement & Service Excellence
Deliver outstanding customer support with expert consultation and technical solutions. Maintain customer communication about service updates and maintenance.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate service reports, repair logs, and work orders; uphold OSHA standards and regulatory compliance.

This job is active, demanding presence from standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Lifting/moving items over 50 lbs. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience: 5+ years as a mechanic/technician in material handling, heavy equipment, or automotive industries. Technical Expertise: Diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, industrial machinery. Certifications: ASE Certification (preferred) in brakes, electrical, diesel, and preventive maintenance; forklift certification a plus. Mechanical & Electrical Skills: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex equipment. Industry Knowledge: OSHA regulations, equipment compliance, workplace safety. Problem-Solving Mindset: Troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills. Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to train and guide junior technicians. Customer Service Excellence: Strong communication and relationship-building. Technical Proficiency: Diagnostic software, schematics, MS Office, digital work platforms, fleet management systems. Work Ethic & Drive: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate in varied conditions, and travel within territory.
