Job Description We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor for 3rd Shift, which must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie, TX site. The primary responsibilities include receiving, storage, inventory management, and delivery to manufacturing. In this role the candidate will work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and planning to support production. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supervising 10-20 team members across 3 shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising one of the teams responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving material, storing material, picking and kitting material, and delivering material to the assembly lines.
Handling team scheduling and daily assignments.
Managing warehouse cycle counting, root cause analysis, and participating in the resolution of all discrepancies related to the warehouse.
Maintaining significant interaction with every other department in the plant.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or warehouse distribution environments and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, etc.).
2+ years of experience supervising or leading small to medium‑size teams.
Leadership skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Experience.
Project management experience with proven delivery of improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills.
APICS/CPM Accreditation.
Education Minimum Education Required: High School/GED.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply‑chain management is strongly desired; however, a combination of education and directly related experience may also be considered.
Compensation Pay Range: $67,544 - $115,790 annually.
