Logistics Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Grand Prairie, TX
We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor for the 2nd Shift at our Grand Prairie, TX site.
The role requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
You will be responsible for receiving, storing, inventory management, and delivery of materials to manufacturing lines, working closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning teams.
Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 10–20 members across 3 shifts, ensuring accurate and efficient material receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and delivery to assembly lines.
Handle team scheduling and daily assignments.
Manage warehouse cycle counting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of discrepancies.
Collaborate with all departments (Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Safety) to support production.
Minimum Education Required
High School/GED
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse distribution environments and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, VMI, Consignment, etc.).
2+ years of experience supervising or leading small to medium‑sized teams.
Leadership skills and ability to work with multiple levels within an organization.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply‑chain management is strongly desired, but a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP experience.
Project management with proven delivery of improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
LEAN, Six Sigma, Root Cause, and Continuous Improvement skills.
APICS/CPM accreditation.
Pay Range
$67,544 – $115,790 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
